Canton Fire Station, Mockbee/Coker

Canton, MS

Located on Canton’s main drag, which was once populated with shotgun-style homes, the Canton Fire Station No. 3 is a modernized version of the town’s architectural history. Notable for its skeletal façade, it’s constructed with corrugated metal and metal tubing painted white. The gable is said to reference the town’s water tower, also visible from Main Street.
