The Rural Studio, an architecture program cofounded by Samuel Mockbee within the School of Architecture at Auburn University, has designed and built more than one hundred community projects and charity homes in west Alabama and educated more than eight hundred architecture students in a service-learning model that has garnered national and international recognition.
