Jackie Mockbee provided love and support to Samuel Mockbee throughout their marriage and his projects. Jackie and Sambo had four-children: Margaret, Sarah Ann, Carol, and Julius. Jackie compiled an audio diary throughout the first year after Samuel Mockbee passed and was featured on WNYC’s topic show “The Next Big Thing.”
